It’s almost there! Monday, the evening for the saints, is the official holiday that is celebrated in many countries. I’m talking about Halloween, also called All Hallows’ eve(ning).
Finally the Netherlands is getting a bit more fanatical with celebrating this spooky holiday.Meanwhile there are the craziest decorations, such as carved pumpkins, skeletons, vampires, dracula’s, and whatnot! For that matter Halloween won’t pass you by unobserved this year. The awesome thing about this holiday is that more children are dressed up and ring the bells for some candy: trick or treat! But there are of course also some trips for adults such as theme parks, escape rooms, horror movie marathons, festivals, parades and so on. We can’t get enough of it.
Walibi Fright Night
This year I will celebrate Halloween with my boyfriend and friends in the amusement park Walibi in Biddinghuizen. The amusement park that got several attractions, that is especially known for their coolest rollercoasters. During Halloween this amusement park will be transformed to an exciting and creepy park with fearsome haunted houses. I rather skip the rollercoasters, because I have fear of heights, but a visit to the haunted houses is worth it. When it gets darker, the place changed into a hell by the horrific demons, scary zombies, kinky mistresses, hungry freaks and the master of the amusement park Eddie the clown. It’s going to be one scary night!
For Halloween there should be a nice outfit of course. In my last post How Long does nail polish from H&M stay on? I mentioned that I was going to use black nail polish for Halloween. But I’ve changed my mind and the color red fits better with my outfit. I bought a groovy shirt with razor sharp Dracula teeth and glasses at H&M. I combined this with a black skirt, pantyhose and ankle boots. Lastly, some red nail polish and lipstick and I’m ready to hunt!
How will you celebrate Halloween this year?
Have a spooktacular Halloween!
