In my previous beauty post ‘Glitter your lips’ I indicated that I’ll tell you this week about the party look that Miriam had applied on my face. I’ve never been to the boutique of Make-Up Studio in Amsterdam. Also I have to admit that I haven’t used any other makeup from their brand after the lipstick ‘glitter your lips’ of my previous post. I, the nosey parker, wanted to get to know more about their assortment and products. From the moment that I walked in, it was a sight to behold! All these beautiful beauty stuff OMG. I suddenly felt like a little girl that wanted to have all the beauty products so badly!
Here we go!
I wanted to learn to create a look with the emphasis on my eyes. As for me they could’ve done this by using the shimmer and a darker eye shadow. Together with Miriam, we grabbed the make-up that was necessary for this and DAMN, what a lot of stuff was on that platter. Usually, I use only 4/5 of the products for my face compared to what I’ve used that day, but it was all worth it.
So there I was, on the chair to get ready for my make-up by Miriam. Meanwhile they filmed me with a compact camera, but unfortunately they couldn’t show the video, because there was a technical glitch. Luckily a friend of mine made some videos with her iPhone 7.
The make-up supplies
Are you ready for it, because these are the products that Miriam used?
- Skin care: Hydra Balance Day Cream + Primer
- Face: No transfer; pale beige, shaping pallet dark, banana powder + concealer fudge
- Cheeks: Bizar Bronze en classy champagne
- Eyes: Eye shadow 430, chestnut gold, ivory gold and for the shiny effects opal
- Mascara: 4D Lash
- Lips: lipline no. 11 funky, lipstick preta porter
- Wenkbrauwen: brow definer 2 and brow powder dark
It was all well worth it, because I was happy with the result. The make-up was in my opinion clearly visible and as whole, it didn’t look too oily. Also I didn’t feel that it was on my face at all, which was super nice!
