H&M has expanded their beauty products, which is a fact. The shelves in the shops are reclassified again with the feeling of being in a chemist’s shop. When I was in the H&M in Utrecht, I walked to this department and I saw a few nail polishes with a very big €2 on it!
My eyes couldn’t look away from it, because of the price. What is only €2? For my Halloween outfit, I was already looking for black nail polish, so I thought: perfect! I haven’t bought nail polish from H&M before, so I am curious about the quality and if the colour suits me. As for my Halloween outfit, there will be a new post about it, so keep an eye on my blog, because it’ll be spectacular!
Once I arrived at home, I wanted to paint my nails immediately. I was very curious if the colour is opaque and if it stays on for a long time, therefore this review.
Bring it on!
I already had a nude gel colour on from Barry M., so I had to remove that colour first. After when my nails were spic and span, I filed my nails for a moment, because oh my they didn’t look good!
During painting my nails, I saw that the colour wasn’t opaque enough after the first layer, so I put two layers on it. When I was finished, I stared at my fingers and honestly I think the colour suits me. Since black on black is the latest trend, it’s a nice bonus.
As for the quality of the nail polish, I’m pretty surprised about it, because the nail polish stayed on my nails for a quite long time. Ordinarily I’m used to it that the nail polish is chipping off already after 1 or 2 days, but as you can see on the photos, it’s still okay after day 2. Still a couple days to go, so I’m curious about how it will turn out.
My nails didn’t look good after day 5. Because I weekly take photos of my outfit or let somebody else take them, my nails should look perfect. I do think my nail polish stays on my nails long enough, though. What do you think?
