May I ask you something? What kind of type are you? One who wears rather basic or colorful prints? I can imagine that you can’t chose and use both of them. Well I do think that basic is safe and a lot easier too combine with other (basic) garments. But prints on the other hand are a little bit trickier. It’s important that you feel comfortable in it and that it needs more tuning from head to toe. I’ve actually mentioned in one of my posts that my favourite colours are black and white.

But lately I’m trying to wear more prints, because I want to create more different styles and I want to show more of me.
I love the shirt I’m wearing in the picture. It has the perfect colours that suit the autumn. And because of the different colours it’s easy to combine with basic garments. For example wear this shirt under a white pullover sweater. Make sure the collar is visible and leap out a little piece of the shirt so you can create a balance between cool and vibrant. And by the way the more layers the better this season 😉
Have you also seen the Milan Fashion Week from 23 till 29 September? Their message was that ‘to dare’ is the new sexy for the next spring/summer 2016. It doesn’t have to be up and top sexy. Dare to wear eye-catching prints, striking silhouettes or catchy material treatments. So be creative, show another style and come out your comfortzone.
